Firstly: We recognize that in many instances you will have been able to identify replacement equipment ahead of the shutdown. This may involve new designs or just “like for like” manufacture of replacement trays or other distillation equipment. DtEC has supplied equipment to many of the major European refineries. Our UK Manufacturing base is ideally located in the Midlands area and offers “state of the art” CNC machinery to provide a first class service
Secondly: We are able to offer a complete specialist installation service. This can range from a two man team for a single small column open and inspection routine through to full refinery column shutdown turnarounds. Our installation service is dedicated to the particular work associated with distillation column internals. All of our workforce are experienced with this type of challenge and are trained in confined space and working at heights. We can work from scratch to provide schedules, method statements, risk analysis and all other aspects of detailed planning through to installation and provision for emergency replacements.
Third: We recognize that the ability to perform lies not only in being able to adhere to a detailed plan but also to perform when the unexpected arises. It is not unusual for column inspections to throw up the unforeseen. Damaged trays or other equipment may need to be replaced within
the shutdown window with minimum disruption to the programme. In such instances DtEC have a proven track record of emergency manufacturing responses. When needs arise we will work around the clock to ensure we get you back on-stream with the minimum of disruption.
